Here you will find all the answers to the most common questions regarding bookings, stays, amenities, pets and life at Camping Villatoile.

How can I book a stay at the campsite?
You can book online, by email or on-site, subject to availability.
Any confirmed booking with deposit implies acceptance of the campsite rules and the general terms of sale.
Do I need to book in advance or can I come spontaneously?
We strongly advise booking in advance, especially during high season (July–August) and long weekends.
How do I book for a group?
Groups must book by email, providing the following details: number of persons, desired accommodation, vehicles, electricity requirement etc.
This allows us to prepare a personalized quote and secure suitable pitches.
What are the arrival and departure times?
- Camping pitches: arrival between 13:00 and 21:00 – departure before 12:00
- Rental accommodations: arrival between 14:00 and 21:00 – departure before 11:00
Where can I find the rates?
The current rates are available on our Rates page.
They vary depending on season, type of pitch and number of persons.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and bank cards.
What are your cancellation terms?
Camping pitches and Pods:
- Up to 8 days before arrival: 30% retained
- From 7 to 2 days before arrival: 50% retained
- Less than 2 days before arrival: 100% retained
Holiday cottages:
- Up to 30 days before arrival: 30% retained.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: 90% retained
⚠️ No refund is given in case of late cancellation or early departure.
Are sanitary facilities accessible to everyone?
Two modern sanitary blocks are available, including one adapted for persons with reduced mobility (PRM).
Showers are free and available 24/7.
Are there drinking water points?
Several drinking water taps are distributed across the site.
What is the electrical supply?
All pitches have a 6 A (≈1380 W) socket.
Seasonal pitches benefit from 10 A (≈2300 W).
Please bring an extension cable and a European adaptor (available at reception).
Which activities can I enjoy on-site?
The campsite offers:
- Children’s play area
- Football and volleyball fields
- Outdoor fitness equipment
- Pétanque court
- Table tennis
🎾 Equipment (balls, rackets etc.) available at reception (against deposit).
Is there a restaurant or bar?
Bistro-bar “Le Moulin” welcomes campers and visitors according to posted hours.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, free Wi-Fi (Villatoile Guest) is available around reception and the bistro – no password required.
Can I charge an electric car?
Yes, a dual charging station is available. Please vacate the spot once charging is complete.
Is there a laundromat?
Yes, washing machine and dryer accessible (paid service). Details at reception.
Is there a convenience store on-site?
Not on the campsite, but the village of Anseremme (≈4 km) offers a supermarket and pharmacy.
🥐 Bakery service: order your baguette and pastries before 17:00 at reception, pick up the next morning.
Are there children’s activities?
No supervised entertainment, but many free activities are available, as well as a swimming zone on the Lesse.
What is the size of the pitches?
Standard pitches are approximately 100 m², with electricity and water point nearby.
Which types of installations are accepted?
Tents, caravans and motorhomes are welcome.
Do you offer seasonal pitches?
Yes, for stays of 4 months or for the full season.
May I install an annex tent?
Yes, on request at reception (supplement applies).
Shady or sunny pitches?
Both exist! Indicate your preference when booking; we will take it into account subject to availability.
Do you rent bicycles?
Not on-site, but several bike rental services are nearby (closest at 3 km).
Do you rent refrigerators?
Not individually, but a communal fridge is available near reception.
Do you provide linen kits?
Yes, on request during booking or upon arrival.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, a maximum of one animal per pitch or accommodation unit. Management reserves the right to accept more than one animal.
They must be kept on a leash, supervised at all times and are not allowed in certain buildings (notably the sanitary blocks).
The owner remains responsible for their pet and its hygiene.
What are the quiet hours?
Silence is required from 22:00 to 08:00.
No motorised vehicles are allowed during these hours.
What about barbecues and campfires?
- Stand-alone barbecues (gas or charcoal) are permitted under supervision.
- Campfires and fire-pits are not allowed on pitches, but possible in the dedicated zone (to be rented at reception).
Can I organise a stag or hen party?
No. Camping Villatoile is a family-friendly and peaceful site — parties and loud events are not allowed.
Are groups accepted?
Yes, under conditions and by reservation only:
- Compliance with the rules is mandatory
- Deposit of €150 (or €10 per person for groups ≥16)
- An adult responsible person must be appointed
- Deposit refunded if all rules are respected at departure
How is waste sorting managed?
Selective waste collection is mandatory.
Containers for paper/cardboard, glass, PMD and residual waste are located near reception and at the rear of the site.
🚮 Only Villatoile bags are allowed for residual waste.
Any infringement may lead to a fine of €25.
What activities are available around the campsite?
Many activities: hiking, cycling, fishing, climbing, kayaking, swimming and various tourist visits…

Is the campsite accessible by public transport?
Yes, the Anseremme train station is located about 3 km from the site.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, depending on availability. Please inform reception before 12:00 on the scheduled departure day.
May I receive visitors?
Yes, visitors are welcome! They must register at reception, pay their entrance and parking, and leave the site before 22:00.
Is the campsite open all year?
The campsite is closed from mid-October to early April, but the holiday cottages remain available year-round.
